Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Role Description

This employment opportunity is for licensed therapists who will be compensated as an independent contractor (1099) at our Group Private Practice. The role involves providing psychotherapy services, and to offer support to clients while conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare professionals.

This role encourages therapists to niche themselves out and/or choose a specialty which will help launch their practice. This Practice is Out-of-Network and our Office Manager is happy to provide your patients with Superbills for Out of Network reimbursements. Sliding scale rates are available to clients on a case by case basis. Upon achieving a 25 person caseload, each consecutive year of employment will entail a performance review which will determine your 5-10% increase in rate split (5-10% more for the Clinicians/Therapists and 5-10% less for the company). Fully licensed Clinicians/Therapists will be considered for a 70/30% rate split should they chose to continue practicing under the Embracing Equanimity LLC umbrella more autonomously.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field or higher

• Valid, current & active licensure from NY State Office of Professions

• Experience in providing therapy and counseling services

• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Knowledge of ethical standards & regulations in therapy practices, based on the Code of Ethics and any Practice Policies which are in effect to support cybersecurity among other things

• Ability to work independently, being a self-starter is a must

• Experience in diverse clinical settings is a plus
